Commonly Asked Questions

  • 🚗 Elliker Cookie Company is a fully licensed, insured, and registered PA Limited Food Establishment based in Eastern Pennsylvania - Elverson, PA specifically - neighboring Morgantown and Twin Valley. All order pickups are available by appointment only.

  • 💵 A dozen of my custom-made sugar cookies start at $65. Additional details can increase the total price - but we'll discuss pricing before you get an invoice so you're comfortable with what you'll pay! No surprises here (unless these are surprise birthday cookies).

  • ⏰ If I'm not booked out already, I'll need about 2 weeks to source the cookie cutters, ingredients, and designs for your order. Under a week before you need your cookies? Ask me still! I may be able to take your order, 🏃‍♂ but there will be a fast track fee of $20.

  • 🥚 No, not at this time. My ingredients include eggs, butter, and flour. Gluten and allergy-sensitive baking requires separate baking areas. I do bake and decorate in a separate licensed kitchen from our home, but it's not something my small kitchen can fully accommodate. Our cookies do not contain nuts - however - we cannot guarantee the ingredients used are nut-free. I’m happy to provide a detailed list of ingredients and brands I use upon request.

  • Delivery and shipping are offered on an as-requested basis as my availability allows. I ship using UPS and costs will include a handling fee to cover shipping supplies. Delivery charges are based on mileage from Elverson, PA.

  • All cookies are individually heat-sealed in a food-safe bag to maximize freshness and flavor. If left in their bags, the cookies stay fresh for up to 2 weeks. If you're not going to eat the cookies within a week, you can freeze them to keep them fresh.

  • Yes! Don’t throw them out or feel like you have to eat them all in a day! Freezing cookies is a great way to make your cookies last longer and give you that sweet tooth fix you know you’ll have in the future.

First and foremost, the cookies need to be in their heat-sealed bags for this to work. Already cut the cookies out of the bags they came in? You can purchase self-seal cellophane bags from Amazon or Michaels and they will work just as well as the heat-sealed ones. Once the cookies are bagged in their bags, you’ll want to get an airtight container to place the cookies in. Make sure the container is big enough to store the cookies without crushing the bottom layer but small enough to fit upright in your freezer.

Once the cookies and their bags have been placed into the container, double-check that the lid is on securely and place the entire container into the freezer. Decorated cookies can be stored in the freezer for up to 6 months before you’ll want to consider tossing them.

The first step you’ll want to do is take the container out of the freezer the night before you need the cookies and, without removing the lid, let them set on the counter at room temperature overnight so that the container and the cookies come to room temperature together. The most important part is leaving the lid on the container so that the condensation forms on the outside of the container vs inside of the cookie bags. Once the container has come to room temperature completely, you are safe to open up the container and remove the cookies! Feel free to cut the cookies out of their bags or leave them in the bag to guarantee they stay fresh for days.

  • Unfortunately, no. Due to the nature of handmade custom cookies, larger orders do not require less work; therefore, I cannot offer discounts.

  • Sometimes! Charitable donations are a case-by-case basis. So reach out! I'd be happy to help if my budget and schedule allow.
